Iyad is responsible for strategy, financing, business development and operational oversight. Prior to founding TASC Towers, Iyad was the founding partner of TASC, a wireless telecom services provider that deployed towers for operators and OEM's in the emerging markets of Africa and the Middle East.

Iyad also co-founded and subsequently exited Wedge Alternatives, an investment advisory and global private placement boutique. Over the course of his financial career, Iyad has raised in excess of US$ 1bn in funding for various alternative investment funds.
